Guys, I have said this before and I’ll say it again. I have GREAT hair! Yes, I am 1000% bragging. But hear my out, I have a horrifically slow metabolism, somewhat small chested and have zero waist definition. So I will take my strong trait and run with it 🙂 Now I love my hair, but it’s big, wavy, unruly and a bit damaged on the ends. I use a TON of products to tame this mane and I recently discovered this product from Pantene. I am calling the Pantene Damage Repair Nourishing Overnight Restoring Serum, a night cream for your hair. The idea is you apply this serum (its a mix between a gel and lotion) to the end of your hair before you go to bed. I ran it through my end after i got out of the shower, with towel dry hair and then again at night before I went to bed. I’ve been using it for about a month now and can attest to it working! As I mentioned, I have dry, damaged ends from my highlights and this product has made my ends soft and hydrated. It’s also under $10 at Target!
My favorite shampoos:
If you have blonde hair, you NEED to use a purple shampoo in between highlights/color. This will keep your blonde.. well blonde and not brassy. I think THIS purple shampoo is the best. It WORKs, but.. is strong. I mean strong as in, your hands/finger tips will be purple for a few hours after you use it.. totally worth it though!
My other favorites at a higher price point are Kerastase sain satin. This is great for dry to normal hair. I think it keeps my hair soft and not brittle. I also love Alterna and and Pureology. And dont forget my favorite pre-wash treatment, Olaplex. Get your hair towel wet (meaning wet and towel dried). Apply on your wet hair and let sit for 30mins to an hour. The take a shower, wash out and go about shampoo and conditioner as usual. I do this about once a month to keep my hair soft and hydrated.
Favorite conditioners and hair products:
My HOLY grail conditioner comes with a price tag, but I PROMISE it’s worth it if you have dry and damaged hair. During quarantine, when I needed my hair cut BAD.. the Oribe intense conditioner for moisture and control is THE BEST! It’s worth the price!
My favorite drug store deep conditioner is the Pantene 3 Minute Miracle and I also love Suave’s Moroccan infusion line, including their conditioner
Now for products, above are my go-to’s fo post shower to get rid of frizz, help with shine and hydration.
